What is The Embodied Book Club?
More than a reading group, this is a place of self-discovery rooted in reflection, liberation, and community care.
The Embodied Book Club was originally created for pre-licensed therapists who want to think critically about their work and their place in the world, we center self-of-the-therapist exploration through texts that challenge the status quo and reimagine your therapy practice. However, folx from all walks of life have expressed interest in participating and we expanded our offerings to accommodate.
Who Can Join?
Anyone wanting to examine how they move through the world is welcome to join, although some groups are geared toward specific special interests.

Pre-Licensed Therapists & Counselors
We offer groups for those under supervision with approved supervisor, Jackie Abeling, MA, LMFT.

Licensed Professionals
Looking to earn some continuing education credits? We’ve got you covered with these groups.

General Public
We also offer groups to the general public, which are a great way to meet like-minded people trying to better themselves, just like you.
