LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
With humility and gratitude, Embodied Journeys acknowledges that we operate on the unceded, ancestral lands of the Nooksack people in Whatcom County, and extend virtually across Minnesota, home of the Dakota and Anishinaabe (Ojibwe), and other Indiginous nations. I recognize the enduring sovereignty, resilience, and stewardship of these Indigenous communities—past, present, and future.

Our commitment to this land is rooted in ongoing learning, relationship-building, and active care. We strive to honor Nooksack teachings by engaging with their community, supporting youth and veterans, and preparing for future reparations. In Minnesota, we carry forward the wisdom shared by incarcerated Indigenous youth, and center their dignity and celebrate their reclamation of their heritage. We are accountable to these lands and peoples, and we will continue to listen, act, and steward with respect.
